Reduced Fat Hummus

Time: 5 minutes


  • 1 210g tin of chickpeas and 1 tbsp of the chickpea water

  • 2 tbsp neutral flavoured plain yoghurt

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp tahini

  • 1/4 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 garlic clove

  • Pinch of salt


  1. Place a sieve over a bowl, then pour the contents of the chickpea tin into the sieve.

  2. Place the chickpeas into a blender, then add 1 tbsp of the liquid now in the bowl.

  3. Add all the remaining ingredients, then blitz until smooth. Add a little more liquid if it's too thick.
